    Carter's Log Cabin is located on the Targhee National Forest boundary, 11 miles east of Ashton, Idaho.  We are located within one hour of the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park,  and a Hour an a half from Grand Teton Park and Jackson Hole, Wyoming  -- A great central location.  The surrounding area offers many activities including: great fishing, hunting, hiking, riding, and much, more.
